Libby has been creating and teaching art for over 30 years.
She has recently relocated to The Southern Highlands of NSW where she lives with her husband, two daughters and her dog Rembrandt. Here she works with and in the landscape, depicting it’s many seasons and subtle but evocative grandeur.
Libby has been a finalist in many art prizes including The Waverley Art Prize, The Fisher Ghost Art Awards, The Wingecarribee Landscape Prize, The Pirtek Still Life Prize, The David Turnbull Bequest Prize and The Norvill Art Prize, receiving a highly commended award.
In 2017 she was invited to be the featured artist in the Goulburn Regional Art Gallery's Snapshot Exhibition and in 2018 was a Semi- finalist in the NSW Parliamnenarty Plein Air Prize. Her work has been purchased by The Historical Houses Trust and has had many exhibitions and private commissions.
She currently teaches expressive painting and drawing at the Bowral Art Gallery.
